SHERNI

I have watched Sherni on Amazon Prime. Although this film is about the forest and tiger preservation issue mainly but in a small scene film writer has smartly conveyed 2 issues which is noticeable if you notice.

Scene is like -

Vidya balan and her family are moving out for the dinner to a friend’s house. Once Vidya comes out of the room to leave, her mother-in-law points her to wear the jewellery and makeup at least for which her mother is also agreed while his husband is wearing a capri n t-shirt and is admired by both the woman (by her mother and mother-in-law). Vidya although does the same but gets angry on his husband about his dressings. 

One more point is conveyed which is to have a baby after marriage is necessary where Vidya counters as why baby is needed when She may live without baby as there are lots of things to do which can be related to her life and choice. It could be to read lots of books or to enjoy her life. 

I appreciate the writer Aastha tiku and director Amit V. Masurkar for a good film 👏🏻

Power to go alone

 The caption written in this picture has reminded me the 1st day when i have moved theatre all alone to watch the movie Rockon

I asked few of my friends to come with me but no buddy was ready to go as they were having less interest in this film. But being a lover of musicalbands i was willing to watch this film. 

I still remember that i was not a bit hesitant to go #alone, even i liked to watch movie alone as i never force anyone to indulge in my choice. 

I also remember when i used to visit cafeterias and bakeries alone to have some stuff of my choice. 

Although Devesh is there to accompany me all the time now and i love him to be with me always but still i may move alone to any restaurant or movie hall all alone.

Review Summary on the book IKIGAI

Recently i have finished a book named #IKIGAI Before giving any #Summary or #Review on this #book, i would like to convey my thanks to 2 persons who have #recommended this book to me. My friend Nimita Singh was the person who recommended this book to me to read and Vineet Pawar ji has pushed me to read it. 

I #bought this book from a #bookstore 

Once i started #reading this book, i felt a #connection with this. The #learnings which i found through it, some of them i was already #following and some i am trying to #implement .

I always #believe that #implementation is a must thing while you read anything good. Ramashankar Pandey sir has told once in of the #group #bookdiscussion #session that “apply the learnings in day to day of your #life that is the #worth of reading any book”

Although i would #recommend you to #read this book IKIGAI but #sharing here few learnings which i found good to implement in my #life. 

You may consider this as a book summary in my words with the selected points. 

- Do whatever you like to do but learn to love whatever you are doing

- Make a habit to help others and volunteer few things

- Don’t be in hurry whatever you are doing but enjoy the process of doing

- Give time to yourself is the best thing to do 

- Passion for life is important but everyone can have their own passion and that is your ikigai

- Never feel yourself as you are old, always feel like a child ... you will never be old

- Good behaviour and good feeling for others will develop a bonding between u n your loved ones and that can lead you to a happy and long life

- A broad smile on ur face and a Hello to everyone u meet makes u happy all the day and life 

- Celebrate your every day as your bday 

- Keep yourself busy always that can bring happiness

- Always have a purpose in your life which can be your work or the passion which is beyond your work

- Maintain an active and adaptable mind can help you in staying young

- Dealing with new situations, Learning something new everyday, Playing games and interacting with other people are the essential anti aging strategies for the mind

- Who faced Challenges and pit their heart and soul into their work in order to succeed, lived longer than those who chose a more relaxed lifestyle and retired earlier

- Secret to keeping the body young is keeping the mind active

- Eat just a little of everything with relish, go to bed early, get up early and then go out for a walk

- What we think influences how we feel, which in turn influences how we act

- You have to accept the world and the people how they are

- You have to learn to relax 

- Cultivate good habits 

- Present is all that exists and it is the only thing we can control so appreciate things just as they are in the moment without worrying about past or the future 

- Being aware if the impermanence of things does not have to make us sad, it should help us love the present moment and those who surround us

- Always be aware about, this moment exists only now and won’t come again 

- Appreciate the beauty of imperfection as an opportunity for growth 

- Walk slowly and you will go far 

- There is a passion inside you, a unique talent that gives meaning to your days and drives you to share the best of yourself u til the very end

कोरोना का ख़ौफ़

कोरोना का ख़ौफ़ फिर से बढ़ रहा है 

एक बार फिर से सम्पूर्ण लॉक डाउन का माहौल बन रहा है 

घर में समय गुज़ारने की प्लानिंग शुरू हो गयी है 

क्या करना है कैसे करना है सब बातें डिस्कस होने लग गयी हैं 

काम वालियों की छुट्टियाँ सोच कर 

महिलाओं का हो गया है बुरा हाल 

ऑफ़िस के कपड़े किनारे रखकर 

पुराने कपड़े का कर रहे हैं ख़याल 

पुरुषों को अपना हुलिया बदलता नज़र आने लग गया है 

हाथ में लैपटॉप की जगह कलछी-बेलन दिखने लग गया है 

बाज़ार बढ़ने लग गयीं हैं जल्दी

नाइट और वीकेंड लॉक डाउन शुरू हो गया है 

ये बात अलग है कि जलेबी- समोसा अभी भी छन रहा है 

पर एक बार फिर से सम्पूर्ण लॉक डाउन का माहौल बन रहा है 

कोरोना का ख़ौफ़ फिर से बढ़ रहा है 

पार्क और क्लब हो गए हैं बंद 

सड़कों पर सन्नाटा बिखर गया है 

बच्चों की ऑनलाइन कलासेज में 

माँ-बाप को होमवर्क मिलना शुरू हो गया है 

दुकानों और दफ़्तरों में जल्दी ताले लटक जा रहे हैं 

मास्क लगाए लोग सरपट दौड़ते नज़र आ रहे हैं 

एक बार फिर घर की होने लग गयीं हैं शामें रंगीन 

क्लब और होटेल की रातें अब फिर हो गयीं गमगीन 

‘घर कब आओगे’ ये पूछना घर वालों का शुरू हो गया है 

कोरोना का ख़ौफ़ फिर से बढ़ रहा है 

एक बार फिर से सम्पूर्ण लॉक डाउन का माहौल बन रहा है 

कुछ भी हो बस मस्त रहिए 

हँसते रहिए और स्वस्थ रहिए 

क्योंकि कोरोना का ख़ौफ़ तो चलता रहेगा 

लेकिन ज़िंदगी का सिलसिला भी यूँ ही चलता रहेगा

चुड़ैल एक औरत ही क्यों ?

बहुत दिनों से एक बात मेरे मन को खटक रही है - चुड़ैल एक औरत ही क्यों । 

कहते हैं कि जब किसी मरने वाले की कोई अधूरी इच्छा रह जाती है तो उसकी आत्मा दूसरा जन्म ना लेकर इसी लोक में भटकती रहती है और किसी ना किसी के शरीर में अपना घर बनाने की कोशिश करती है । यानि कि अगर एक औरत ही चुड़ैल बनती है तो मतलब कितनी औरतों की इच्छाएँ अधूरी रह जाती हैं । या शायद वो इतना प्रताड़ित होती हैं अपने जीते जी, कि मरने के बाद शक्तिशाली होकर वो सब करना चाहती हैं जो जीते जी नहीं कर सकीं ।
